Meet Our Endorsed Candidates

COMMITTEE TO ELECT UPPER DARBY SCHOOL BOARD DIRECTORS

We believe that the Upper Darby School Board needs significant reforms and accordingly, we are endorsing the following candidates for election to the Upper Darby School Board.

JOHN RYAN

An Upper Darby resident for 10 years, John is a Real Estate Agent and father of five children, all of whom are currently enrolled in or will attend Upper Darby Schools. Active in Cub Scouts, Drexel Hill Little league and Upper Darby Youth Soccer, John also serves as VP of the Board of Trustees of Drexel Hill United Methodist Church.

SAMUEL KRAKOW MD

A 5 year resident of Drexel Hill, Sam is currently a Temple University Medical Student. Sam will be starting his family medicine residency this summer at Crozer Medical Center. Sam is acutely interested in environmental issues and how they affect the residents of Upper Darby and hopes to utilize his medical background to improve student nutrition.

"John, Sam & Dwendolyn believe the heart of our Community beats with our children. In the same breath they believe that we must overcome the challenges of property taxes that are out of control and possibly driving out the best and smartest of our Community. All will challenge parents, teachers, administrators and regular citizens to work toward solving this problem."
